General assembly is conducted every Wednesday at 10.30am-12.30pm,as the name suggests it is a general assembly of all faculties, students of both seniors and juniors of present batches. It is a brainstorming session consisting of general mind triggering games, management aspects quizzes, puzzles, theme based team events, debate hours, group discussions and much more.
Before the general assembly begins the students are clubbed into various river name based teams i.e., Brahmaputra, Godavari, Krishna, Cauvery, Narmada and Yamuna. These team names indicate the significance of important rivers of our nation. Each team is allocated with faculty members. Every Wednesday one single team will organize the general assembly session.
As a fresher MBA graduates general assembly has helped us to know the meaning of team, team work and team building concepts. It has helped us to know how to manage and prepare ourselves during strategic games and discussion hours. While other teams play and perform we observe them, this helped us to know how to plan tactics to win the games, imbibe the seen ideas while organizing our team, think and analyze critically. It has also us given practical experience of event management in specified time.
It has improved our body language, mind consciousness, proper attire, right attitude and organization behavior. Finally after all the teams are done with organizing respective general assembly session, the high scored team ,best organized team, best anchoring is felicitated with mementos.
It is a great session helping the students to remove the gap of communication between the seniors and faculties and making students aware of their inner consciousness.
Last but not the least the motivation factor by our faculties and seniors boosted our energies, showcased the hidden talents and made a difference out of it.
